Mid and North East Essex Mind are a local independent mental health charity.
They are part of the national Mind Federation and work in partnership with other local Minds, NHS and local health services, as well as key community organisations and service providers to enhance the offering for people impacted by mental health and suicide.
As a local Mind, they develop inclusive projects and support services to embed in the community and meet local needs.

They believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. They listen, support, and advise, pushing the agenda for a better deal for everyone experiencing a mental health problem.
They strive to support people of all ages, from young people in schools to older people struggling in isolation. They provide counselling and outreach services for people with mild to moderate mental health issues (such as anxiety, stress, and depression) as well as for those in crisis, who have experienced serious trauma and/or living with long term mental health conditions.

Each year 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem. Mid and North East Essex Mind exist to make sure nobody has to face this alone.
From your very first game, you will be helping Mid and North East Essex Mind to raise vital funds. Some examples of what your contribution could help pay for are:
provides refreshments at the Crisis Cafe in Colchester.
funds a support worker for 1 hour to support an adult living with a mental health condition.
will enable someone experiencing mental health difficulties to have a 50-minute counselling session with a BACP qualified counsellor.
provides a Suicide Awareness Training Session for up to 16 people.
How to play
Each entry to the draw costs £1. Our draws are run every week of the year, usually on a Friday. You can either set up a subscription to provide your chosen charity with a regular and reliable income, every week of the year, or you can play as and when you want to, whatever suits you best!
